How can I get my face to look like it's glowing?

I just took graduation pictures for school, and in the actual graduation pictures they're going to put in the year book,

my face looks utterly disgusting.

It looks oily, which is the bigest problem, but my face isn't even oily; it's my makeup.

I want to know, how can I get my face to look like it's glowing, like celebrites do when they're doing photoshoots.

And if you have any suggestions, could you please give me some kind of brand I could get for that type of makeup?

Thnx :)

How can I get my face to look like it's glowing?
The first thing I would do is to use Benefit's Dr. FeelGood primer. It will absorb any oil,and keep your foundation on--no caking, flaking or touch-ups! In terms of foundation, I recommend the Teint Innoconnce foundation from Chanel. It's an oil-free foundation with light to medium coverage that has light-reflecting pigments, giving your skin that radiantly healthy, glowy look. You can also try Bobbi Brown's shimmer bricks. Worn over blush or instead of blush, they give you a glowing, natural complexion.
Reply:clean face, maybe powder.lightly
Reply:try using a bronzer on top of you foundation or a luminator under your foundation... it will make you glow... smashbox luminator
Reply:boil 1 cup oatmeal

add 1 egg white and 1 TB honey

Apply thin so it doesnt drip

take off when you scrunch your face it feels like the mask is cracking

Good luck :%26gt;

This works incredibly on my skin! It is AMAZING
Reply:I did some research looking for foundation that's light and something that make up artist's use. On Sex and the City they used Make Up Forever's Face and Body foundation. I purchased some and it is really great stuff. It is light, buildable coverage, lasts, and has a dewy finish that lasts all day. Looks great in photos because it doesn't have titanium dioxide. Most photo's don't turn out because of foundation, it acturally is the powder you use on top. It reflects light.
Reply:break glowsticks and put the liquid on your face...then you will really be glowing!
Reply:Try puritycosmetics.co.uk. It is really good!
Reply:The reason why the celebs faces glow is cuz its an affect the photographer uses.. but I agree bare minerals works
Reply:Instead of using liquid foundation, switch to a powder. That should help with the shininess. I use bronzer on top of my foundation, on my cheek bones, bridge of my nose, and forehead, anywhere that the sun naturally hits you. You can even use bronzer on your shoulders and collar bone if you wearing a low shirt or tank top. I use Bronze Gems, I found mine at Wal-Mart for about $6. You can get it in different shades, depending on how light or dark your skin is.
Reply:Bare Escentuals Pure Radiance. It's the best!!! It's actually made just for that purpose. Check out Ebay or Sephora
Reply:I use my normal foundation (Giorgio Armani) but you can buy an added tinter/luminator...you mix it in with your normal foundation and i seriously get compliments all the time "wow you are like glowing, your skin looks great etc"

So even if you have the perfect foundation, look for another tinter u can mix in with it to give just that hint of glow instead of an oil slick :)
Reply:clean your face, use a Dove energy glow bronzer. if you have light eyes, use a little darker eye shadow. (covergirl) use blush too but NOT TOO MUCH!! (covergirl works best if you ask me) they use it in americas next top model.
