Some of them are grey. If they are yellow does it mean that they are online? And do they see a yellow smiley face beside my address? Thanks for the help...I am kinda new at this :)
Why is the smiley face yellow in my address book on some addresses but not all of them?
Yellow smiley faces mean the user is online. If they are a Yahoo user and you are online they will see the yellow face next to your address.

Grey Smiley shows that they are not online . . . .
Once you login on the othe side your contact will be yellow to your friend
