I know there are books out on face exercises that claim they can be as effective as a face lift and can take ten years off your appearance. It doesn't seem to get any serious attn by the mainstream, but the concept makes sense to me. Anyone have any experience with them. I hate to make the time investment if there will be no results.
Does anyone know anything about face exercises?
Yes, I recommend you visit the site below. FlexEffect is a facial resistance training programme which actually builds muscle tissue in the face and neck.
I've been doing facial exercise for over 6 years and find them to be very effective if you target the muscle correctly and use resistance.
HTH : )
Reply:Check this page out it will help you a lot.
Reply:DO NOT DO NOT try facial exercises; you are working muscles that do not need to be worked....you would be better doing something to improve the circulation to your face; learn the proper way to do a headstand but be careful; you can hurt your neck if its not done right..facial exercises can create more wrinkles than you could imagine!! keeing your skin hydrated by drinking lots of water and lots of fresh fruits and vegetables and using a moderately priced facial moisturizer will do more to help you skin over the long run than facial exercises!!
Reply:yes, there retarded and a rip off for those devises no evidence they work
smiling prevents wrinkles, frowing causes more
science
Reply:I am an actor, so I may know of a facial exercise that may help you. Just imagine you bit into a lemon, and scrunch your face as tight as you can. Then think of a begging baby bird, and stretch your face as wide as you can. Do this as many times as you want.
Reply:I wouldn't swear to it but I think it's a con. Maybe I would look worse if I hadn't done them but whose to say ...I don't bother now and I'm no worse, Spend the same time working and earn enough for botox or even a face lift... much more of a certainty. In any case in the not so distant future we'll all be using stem cell technology which will revert us to our previous youthfulness.
Reply:I think you should think about this before you proceed, the face is delicate and repeated movementes will "age" your face (smiling is the exception). The body needs to exercise for overall tone and youth but the face is different. I think this is a hoax that appears logical.
Reply:Oh! you hate to make the time investment!!!
That was funny.
Sit in front of the t.v.....and do them?....
Reply:yea squish up yo face
