HELP! Face on the Milk Carton?
i must warn you i read it a long time ago so some things i dont remember.

Face on a milk carton is about a girl who sees her face in a milk cartoon at school (you know the ones that say call this number if you have seen her...and the day that she was lost/taken) at first she cant believe it and thinks that it must be a mistake. she searches her house and finds a box with the dress that the little girl in the pcture is wearing and that's how she knows the girl in the picture is her. she confronts her "parents" they tell her the truth what they know which was that their real daughter (which was not a nice person, drug attic) brought her to them when she was smaller and then left her there. so they decided to raise her as their own. she finds out the address of her real parents and goes to see them to see if they atleast look like her, and they do, even her brothers and sister, they have the same hair. the girl decides to call the number because she feels bad that her real parents probably think that the worst thing happened to her. so she calls and then she is forced to go live with her real parents even though she doesnt want to cause she doesnt really know them.

this is the first book in the series, but pretty much that's what this one is about.

hope i helped.
Reply:what is the conflict in the story?
Reply:Its about a Pirate that finds love in Rockland, Maine. Moves to Fort Wayne, Indiana where he then procedes to take over Canada using nothing but a salmon fillet and the awesome power of rock.

The Pirate is also a potato.
Reply:It's about a girl named Janie who sees her own face on a milk carton. It turns out that the people she thinks are her parents are not related to her at all, but they think they're her grandparents. She was taken from her real parents at the age of 3 by a Hare Krishna woman named Hannah, and Hannah told her parents that Janie (whose real name turns out to be Jennie) was hers and that they should take care of her. So Janie basically realizes her entire life has been a big lie. Try this link for more info -
